Girls Volleyball Aces Their Season Opener With Their First Match Victory!

The 2018-2019 Dragon Athletics season has officially begun…and is already off to a winning start! Both of the soccer teams and the girls volleyball team have been hard at work since the first days of school, practicing and getting back in the groove.  

The Girls Volleyball was first up to compete, with a match against Rodeph Sholom on Thursday afternoon – and they brought home their first-ever match win! After losing an exciting first game, Speyer rallied back to win the next two games for the match victory. The Girls Volleyball team looks to keep the winning momentum going when they host Speyer’s very first home volleyball game on next Thursday at John Jay College!
